JKBOSE Releases Revised Academic Calendar After Session Restoration
Srinagar, May 21 (KNO): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a revised academic calendar following the reinstatement of the March–November academic session.
As reported by the Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the board clarified that due to the change in the academic schedule for winter zone areas in 2024, the Annual Regular Examinations for the 2024–25 session will now be conducted in October–November 2025. Meanwhile, in the summer zone of the Jammu division, the exams will be held in February–March 2026.
JKBOSE further stated that the previous academic calendar is being reinstated from the current year (2025) across Jammu & Kashmir and the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to the notification, the academic year for the Kashmir division, the winter zone areas of Jammu, and Ladakh UT will be 2024–25, with annual regular exams for classes 9th to 12th scheduled for October–November 2025.
