These include highways like Lucknow Highway, Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, NH-9 and Delhi-Jaipur Highway. How much toll tax has been increased
Toll tax has been increased by 5-10 rupees on most toll plazas. However, this rate is for small vehicles and for light commercial vehicles, the amount of toll tax has been increased to 20-25 rupees. Toll tax has increased by 5-10 and 20-25 rupees on highways like Lucknow-Kanpur, Ayodhya, Raebareli and Barabanki.
NH-9 and Delhi-Meerut Expressway expensive
- Toll for car/jeep from Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut increased from Rs 165 to Rs 170
- Toll tax for light commercial vehicles is Rs 275
- Toll tax for trucks is Rs 580
- Those coming to Meerut from Ghaziabad will now have to pay Rs 75 instead of Rs 70
