The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued an official notification regarding the External Practical Examination for Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11th) Annual (Regular) Session 2025. These practical exams will be organized by the individual schools/institutions following the completion of the written exams. This applies to both Soft Zone and Hard Zone regions in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Key Points from the Notification:
- The external practical exams will be conducted by the schools themselves.
- Schools must submit practical awards to the concerned board offices within 10 days after the completion of the exams.
- The practical exams must follow the new/revised syllabi and course of study, as per the notification No: F(Acad-C) Rev-New/Tbs./23, dated 27-05-2023.
- The notification has been circulated to various education officials and stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution.
Instructions for Schools & Institutions
The Heads of Institutions are directed to conduct the external practical exams in a timely and fair manner and forward the results to:
- Joint Secretary (Secrecy JD/KD)
- Concerned Sub/Branch Offices of the Board
All stakeholders, including divisional commissioners, directors of school education, principals, and examination secretaries, have been informed to take necessary actions.
