In a First, J&K BOSE Likely to Announce 10th and 12th Results Together by April 30 or May 1
For the first time, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) is planning to announce the results of both the 10th and 12th grade examinations on the same day. In a major development, the board has stated that it aims to declare the results by either April 30 or May 1. Senior BOSE officials told the Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they are working towards setting a new precedent by releasing multiple results together. “Currently, we are targeting April 30 for the announcement of the 12th-grade results,” one official said. However, they noted there is an 80 per percent likelihood that the results will be announced on April 30, with May 1 reserved as a backup date in case of any delays.
The officials also stated that the 10th standard results could be announced on the same day as the 12th standard results. However, they have kept a window open between April 30 and May 2 for the declaration of the 10th class results if needed. “We are aiming to set new standards and trends by announcing multiple results on the same day,” the official said. They stressed that BOSE is making every possible effort to ensure the simultaneous declaration of results, which would mark a first in the Board’s history.
