With schools scheduled to reopen on March 1st, 2025, these directives aim to facilitate a seamless return to school, ensuring a safe, clean, and celebratory atmosphere for both students and staff.
1. Celebrate the Reopening with a Festive Atmosphere
The reopening should be treated as a special occasion. Schools are encouraged to create a festive atmosphere to motivate students and help them transition back into their academic routine. A welcoming environment can boost student morale and contribute to a positive school experience.
2. Early Preparation: Institutional Plans and Timetable
The Heads of Institutions (Hols) are required to make the necessary preparations ahead of the school reopening. This includes finalizing the institutional plan, preparing the school timetable, and ensuring the sanitation facilities are ready. Proper planning in advance will help avoid last-minute delays and disruptions.
3. Address Maintenance and Necessary Repairs
Before reopening, schools must ensure all essential repairs are completed. This includes checking the functionality of drinking water facilities, electricity supply, toilets, and window panes. 4. Verify Biometric and Attendance Systems
