
DSE Jammu Announces Free Coaching for Destitute, Orphan, and BPL Students for 2025-26
The Directorate of School Education, Jammu, has announced a notification offering free coaching for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, including destitute individuals, orphans, and those from Below Poverty Line (BPL) households. This program will grant free admission, covering up to 10% of the total intake capacity, to private tuition and coaching centers for the 2025-26 academic session.
Eligibility Criteria
Students applying for this scheme must belong to one of the following categories:
- Destitute
- Orphan
- Below Poverty Line (BPL)
- Beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY)
- Priority Household (PHH)
The free coaching is applicable for secondary and higher secondary students preparing for various academic and undergraduate competitive exams under UGC guidelines.
Application Process
Interested candidates must submit their applications along with the following documents:
- Qualification certificate from the previous class
- Destitute certificate (if applicable)
- Orphan certificate (if applicable)
- Ration card for BPL/AAY/PHH verification
