Classwork Suspended for Students up to Class 8th in Bandipora Due to Inclement Weather
Bandipora, April 20, 2025:
Due to ongoing adverse weather conditions, including continuous rain and snowfall that may pose safety risks, the Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Bandipora has announced the suspension of classwork for students up to class 8th in all government and private middle and high schools across the district for April 21, 2025.
This precautionary step has been taken to prioritise the safety and well-being of students, especially younger children who are more susceptible to the challenges posed by the harsh weather.
Although students from Nursery to Class 8 are exempted from attending school, all teaching staff are directed to report to their respective institutions and follow the regular schedule.
The Chief Education Officer (CEO) of Bandipora has also instructed all Heads of Institutions (HoIs) to adhere to the directive and implement appropriate safety measures within school premises.
Any further information or changes will be shared based on how the weather situation develops.
