AWW Recruitment in J&K: Final Provisional List for Sangnis Posts Released
The Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Project Sumbal, has published the final provisional selection list for the recruitment of Sangnis (Anganwadi Workers) in Jammu and Kashmir. This recruitment is part of the UT government’s efforts to enhance early childhood care and development services.
The selection process began with Advertisement Notice No. 01 of 2025, dated February 3, 2025, inviting applications for various ward-level vacancies. Following a thorough review of application forms and academic credentials, the District Level Selection Committee has prepared and released the final merit list.
Provisional Selection List (Annexure “B”)
Based on academic merit and ward-wise eligibility, the following candidates have been selected provisionally:
- Samiya Manzoor
- Location: Salman Abad, Palhallan A, W.No.3
- Marks: 258/500
- Percentage: 51.60%
- Masooda Bano
- Location: Ganiehar Mohalla, Palhallan B, W.No.6
- Marks: 222/500
- Percentage: 44.40%
- Tahira Hassan
- Location: Tantrapyora, Palhallan G, W.No.7
- Marks: 197/500
- Percentage: 39.40%
Candidates listed in Annexure “A” were evaluated but did not make the final provisional cut based on percentage of marks and ward eligibility.
Objection Window Open
Applicants and stakeholders have a window of 10 days from the date of publication (05-05-2025) to submit any objections or clarifications. Objections received after the cutoff date will not be entertained.
