PM Kisan: 21st installment of PM Kisan released, has the money also come into your account?
The PM Kisan Yojana, launched to benefit millions of farmers across India, has become one of the most popular government schemes. Farmers nationwide eagerly look forward to receiving financial aid under this program.
Recently, the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana was released in one state. On Tuesday, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan disbursed Rs 171 crore to 8.55 lakh farmers in flood-affected Jammu and Kashmir.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan) Yojana, the central government provides Rs 6,000 annually to farmers, distributed in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.
A total of Rs 4,052 crore has been provided to the farmers of Jammu and Kashmir so far.
According to a government statement, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has released the 21st installment of the PM Kisan Yojana in advance for flood and landslide-affected farmers of Jammu and Kashmir. This installment was released through video conferencing from Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi. “Under this installment, Rs 171 crore has been transferred directly to the bank accounts of a total of 8.55 lakh farmers, including 85,418 women farmers,” the statement said. With this, farmers of Jammu and Kashmir have so far received a total assistance of Rs 4,052 crore under PM Kisan.
Last month, the 21st installment was also released in advance to farmers from three states.
The Union Minister said that Chouhan said that the central government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stands shoulder to shoulder with the farmers and people affected by floods and other natural disasters in Jammu and Kashmir. He said, “We will ensure that no farmer is left alone in this hour of crisis. Releasing this installment of PM Kisan is an important step to help meet their immediate needs.” It should be noted that Shivraj Singh Chouhan had also released the 21st installment of PM Kisan in advance for farmers in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana in September.
