J&K Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Document Verification 2025: Important Notice by JKPSC
The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued an official notice regarding the J&K Veterinary Assistant Surgeon Document Verification 2025 for the Animal & Sheep Husbandry Department. As mentioned in annexures “A & B,” all shortlisted candidates are directed to appear before the Verification Committee at either the Jammu or Srinagar JKPSC offices.
The verification process will occur on the 6th and 7th of May 2025, starting at 9:30 AM. Candidates can choose either of the two dates for document verification.

Documents Required for Verification
Candidates must present the original documents supporting the following claims:
- Age proof
- Educational qualifications
- Internship completion
- Registration with the State Veterinary Council or equivalent body
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Disability certificate (if applicable)
This process is conducted under Rules 27 & 28 of the J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021.
Important Note
The candidates listed for verification are considered provisionally eligible. This does not guarantee selection or appointment. Final selection will depend on compliance with all rules and is subject to the outcome of any pending court cases.
Non-appearance for the verification process will result in disqualification.
